Wets Back A Win May 11th 2008 WET Wet Wet bassist Graeme Clark knew on Friday he had tickets and is going to the match with keyboard player Neil Mitchell and manager Dougie Souness. He said: "It's like Christmas come early. I don't care how we got there, winning ugly or not. Just go and do us proud and give the Rangers fans in Manchester a night to remember."
Neil at sugababes concert March 27th 2008 THE Sugababes put on a sweet show at Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium last night. Keisha, Heidi and Amelle - who have been hailed the most successful UK girl group of the 21st century - belted out 20 tracks and thoroughly earned the title. The three-piece looked solid and managed a slick 11 costume changes with a little help from a trio of look-alike backing dancers. The set included number ones Freak Like Me, Hole In The Head and encore tracks Push The Button and About You Now. Wet Wet Wet keyboard player Neil Mitchell and girlfriend Ambi were among the packed crowd who enjoyed the show. Keisha Buchanan was feeling unwell before the gig but battled through sticking to the old adage: "The show must go on." The trio, who are on their longest tour in seven years, arrived in Glasgow late for their soundcheck after being caught in a heavy traffic jam in Hamilton. Their 30-date eightweek tour seemed to take its toll on Keisha. She said: "I'm feeling pretty sick right now. I've just had a very long bus journey and am not feeling too great at all but I'm sure I will be feeling a lot better when I get inside.
