Why did wet wet wet get back together
I've asked myself that alot lately. I think we missed why we we'd wanted to be in a band in the first place. Though i'm sure thoses reasons have changed slightly for each of us. I guess we all missesd each other as well... not forgetting all the trappings that go with being in a successful group. We had our first hit in 1987 - but 10 years on we were tired of the business and each other. It had been such a big part of our lives - starting in our mid-teens and going on into our mid-thirties. I guess we just imploded.
Did i have any reservations about getting back together
Yes. Naturally, I suppose we all did. We'd spent seven years apart so our lives were so diffrent . When it came down to it the big question was What would rather do ? play gigs, go back into the studio again, write new tracks for a greatest hits cd, the answer was simple, when do we start
What did i miss most when the band split up
In the beginning it was guite tough. Things had ended abrupt-ly. Musically, i felt we still had a lot to offer. We actually recorded some good stuff back then which was unreleased. Hopefully it will see the light of the day in the future. For the first time in my life i was unemployed and became unemployaable as time went on. I missed being in "wet world". It was like being in a bubble... being taken care of , every whim or wish granted. Imagine the enjoyment of travelling the world with your mates and doing what you love. It was a brilliant experience. Perhaps one we took for granted in the end. We'd been lucky to visit some great places along the way and make some great frienda a few enemies too. Thats life but what happens to the bubbles boys and girls ? . You know the answer.
